In fact it appears to be a complete and utter lie. At least with Sarah Palin there seems to be more than some anonymous rumour. While I think it is pretty irrelevant stuff I don't see it as being very unfair to talk about this. And using phrases like "some new clothes" is a bit misleading isn't it? In a few months it has been $150000 of new cloths. It is not just that it might not be totally accurate, she wasn’t in NY at the time, so far it seems it is totally inaccurate.
